In my previous blog post I made a review of some of my favourite moments of 2017. Now enough looking backwards. We are well into 2018 already, and I have a bunch of plans and resolutions for the upcoming months. I want to share some of them with you. So keep on reading to find out a few things I'm working on.
I swear, like 5 minutes ago I was popping the champagne and cheering for the New Year, 2017, and now here we are, it's 2018, and we're halfway through January already. Time flies when you are busy and you are having fun. Yeah, last year was quite intense...It was amazing, but busy. It took me quite a while to go through everything and put this blog post together, but I am really excited to be relaunching my blog. So, without further ado, here is a quick retrospective of my past 12 months.
Now that we said goodbye to 2016 and the Holidays madness is over, it’s time for me to take a moment and look back at what the past year meant for me, professionally and personally (or let’s say both, I can’t really dissociate between what’s personal and what’s professional). 2016 was definitely a big year for me with many accomplishments and many challenges, and overall it was lots and lots of fun (yes, I really love my job). Here is a quick recap.
This month marks one year since I photographed my first CreativeMornings/Montreal event and looking in retrospect and seeing the vast collection of images I have gathered does bring a sense of personal accomplishment. But it’s not just the photos themselves that make me smile to myself, but the wonderful experiences I’ve had, the interesting stories I’ve heard, the amazing people I have met and, last but not least, all the awesome places I got to see in the process. Creative Mornings allowed me (and not only me, but everyone attending) to explore so many nice corners and venues all over Montreal. Join me in a little photo trip around this beautiful city and down my MTLCM memory lane.
This is the last part of my Festival Mode et Design 2016 photo story, a recall of Day 3 and Day 4. Keep reading and scrolling to see some of my favourite styles presented on the catwalk and some of my favourite festival moments. And, to complete the FMD tour, i'm giving you a sneak peek of the backstage makeup madness.
Last week Place Bonaventure hosted the Expo Entrepreneurs, an innovative event which brought Quebec’s entrepreneurial community together for two very inspirational days of conferences, networking, workshops and much more. Even though it was the very first edition of the Expo, it counted over 6000 participants, including a surprise visit from Montreal’s very own Valérie Plante, who announced the City’s support for the second edition of the event.
